2010 is almost half way over. I know it sounds crazy, but it's actually true! I was ruminating last night on how fast the year had gone, and I started to wonder "What have I done with the year so far? What am I going to do with the rest of it?"
Take a moment and journal or think about it. What have you done at work? At home? For your family/friends? For yourself? How have you advanced? Think positively! Maybe you got closer to paying off your car or home, or perhaps you started having better communication with a loved one. Small or large, write down your accomplishments! (This makes a nice list to keep on your mirror or dresser for when you're feeling down.)
Now start a new list. What do you want to accomplish in the second half of 2010? A new job, a new home, a new weight? Continuing to carry on your blog? Doing yoga once a week? This is a great time to reaffirm resolutions for the year, and also to take realistic stock of what you plan to end the year having accomplished.
Enjoy the energy and determination that chronicling your exploits and plans brings to you! Now mix it up and make the rest of 2010 just as amazing as the first half!
