It's a city in the desert that only exists for a week.
It's a gathering of adventurous and hardy souls.
It's a celebration of music, art, expression, and life.
It's Burning Man, and I will be going this year!
If you want to participate in community of radical inclusion, self-reliance, and self-expression, it seems like this is the place for you. I hope it is the place for me! I'm going as a personal experiment in extreme camping and community participation. I'm going to clarify my vision, to dance until I fall down, and to see if I can take pictures in a dust storm. I'm going because it will be an adventure!
I hope you'll join me!

For many years I wanted to attend Burning Man, but lately I've come to feel that as a counterculture event it's become too self-aware. It seems that the vast majority of people that go to it aren't there for the community or self-expression, but are there so they can get ripped and ride their bicycle around naked and say "OMG dude, the burn was so radical this year." to all of their other hipster friends when they get back home.
Not that I think that *you* are in that category, just that many of the attendees are.
